Inscription dates 1836 of "H. Almack" - Doyle speculates this is "likely antiquary Henry Horn Almack of Melford Surrey" He was however born 1834 making his inscription at age 2 unlikely.
1934 (End) Terry, Roderick T., Rev. Dr., 1849-1933 (as Roderick Terry)
Bookplate of Roderick Terry. Stated to be lot 179 in his first sale "1924" [sic - a typo for 1934]
